Sorry to hear that ,was wheel damaged, if so take photo of pot hole and a indication of depth with a tape measure and claim from Highways Department of the council.

Hi my son and I looked at the wheel carefully when off of the car there doesn't seem to be any damage but he's going to look at it more in depth when he takes it to work tomorrow

I passed 15+ cars bumper to bumper on the hard shoulder of the M1 earlier this week all with the boot up and changing bent and punctured wheels after all hitting the same hole , it was like a formula 1 pit lane . Smart motorway road works 23a to 25 absolutely shocking . North and south just as bad

The thing is there's more standard cars plus performance cars that run on low profile tyres so I would imagine there's quite a lot more vehicles with wheel and tyre damage as opposed to a 10-20 years ago

As I have mentioned before claim for a new one from the Council Highways Department, plenty have claimed before for damage to car.

Just ensure you take a photo and depth of hole and its location and date it happend.
