Ordered this of eBay weeks ago from China, thought I would give it a go!

After a pass with the clay bar I then gave it a coat, misted on and worked in with an applicator sponge. You can see from the pic how little I used! Will now do the transit and the wife’s car!

It’s a lovely deep gloss finish for very little work! I left it on for about two hours then buffed up with microfibre cloth, done!
If I do the Transit or the TT I will comment on its practicality’s but the monaro tends not to see much dirt.
Now just waiting for spring.....tick tock

How is it any better than Wax?

What is the benefit?

Is supposed to be hydrophobic ish so dirt falls off better. Also one aplication lasts years rather than week. A lot easier to use and if it does work a lot cheaper than wax. Would guess I could do the monaro 10x with that £12 bottle. Time will tell though but it seems very popular these days hence I thought I would see what the fuss was about

Do you think that insulation on your garage door makes much difference?

I doubt it helps hold temperature much but it prevents condensation from building up on it. My aims with insulating this garage were to prevent damp even in coldest weather. So far so good.

Will do my Transit at the weekend, is it’s a Tipper I’m hoping I can also spray it to the underside to stop the dirt from sticking so much then It will jet off easier. Anything’s worth a try!
One eBay vid suggested spraying it to a boat hull but leaving it unpolished to keep it clean, will do that to the tipper.

Hi Ade, it’s a very generic one, bought on eBay from China. Simply called “nano glass protect” I just shopped for a bottle big enough to do the monaro (turns out even the little 30ml bottles would have done) also I do recommend a spray bottle, avoids any waste.
What are described as exactly the same stuff in the U.K. is about 4x the price but faster delivery. A mate who sells new Audi’s recons it looks and smells like the stuff they offer customers at £300 once a guy has applied it.
I Would guess it’s like engine oil. Some company’s “claim” there’s have extra stuff in to excuse the price but who really knows........

I had "A Glaze" applied to my Monaro when new by Green's of Rainham, one of the renowned Vauxhall Dealers (also a Wortec supplier). I'd recommend the technology.
It can be applied to all sizes of marinecraft and aircraft. My brother has it on his Cirrus.

Looking good mate glad enjoying the car, it has actually been wet colour sanded, I took it for a detail in 2011 and under the microscope they showed me the paint ridges had all been sanded flat and the paint finish was perfect. That was 2011 though.

Hi mate, good to hear from you! Hope you approve of the changes. How’s the 911?

Oh and we got an mot pass on Friday. How was it to get through emissions when you had it? It went through but required a couple of attempts. Every time the exhaust popped it through the hydrocarbons out.

It's looking nice glad it went to a good home. Looks happy tucked up In your garage down South as opposed to my driveway in wet mcr.

Enjoying the 911 different kettle of fish but a car I wanted off my bucket list I remember you saying you had one once.

Used to go through mot emissions ok just needed to make sure the cats were very hot.

I think that was the problem. I got it nice and hot on the way to the station but then the tester went through lights/horn/safety belts etc first while it was idling. Plus the run to mot station was the first time it had been driven since the first week of November.
Yea I loved my old 964, bought it “coz 911” but it was so much better than I was expecting.
