HSV announced their new line up on Friday:

The "Colorado Sportscat by HSV"

And they'll be converting Chevrolet Silverados (starting in April) and Camaros (starting in July) to RHD (a branch of Walkinshaw already does RAM truck RHD conversions).

Rumour is that the Sportscat will be the last HSV and they'll rebrand next year to Walkinshaw.

Hopefully the next all new Camero (which is due in a couple of years time) will be factory right hand drive. That will be a great car for Walkinshaw to upgrade. I wonder if it will make it to the UK.....mind you look how expensive the last HSV was......that could be a bit of an issue!!!

I think VX knew they would be going to people already hooked or speculating so priced accordingly.

Dougie says the top man at Peugeot is a petrolhead, so I wouldn't rule it out.

A few years ago I thought about trading my Monaro for a new Camero 6.2 manual, however I was offered next to nothing, so I walked away.
Looking back I'm glad I didn't go through with the deal, but I've always had a thing for Camero's , so I would be interested in your opinion of the good and bad points of Camero ownership......just in case!

John, a Camaro is always better than a Camero.
Something like an Aston Martin is better than an Austin Martin! (As my better half once called one!)

Ironic as Peugeot don’t make anything of any interest.

Can’t see them buying a car in from another company though
They might as well buy a mustang biglaugh

Indeed other than a used HSV the options really are USA Ford V8 or Cadillac/Chevy V8 or Chrysler Jeep/Challenger/Charger V8..

No, good ideas often get lost or diluted before they hit the showroom. The RCZ could have been an Audi TT beater but the 270 was too little too late (and the brakes and steering were shyte).

Basically a Vxr8 floor pan

Inside is just plain vile with so much plastic inside , obviously a road sweeper ( lhd ) Camaro SLP ZL575 so well specced with a blown Ls3 , manual , big Brembos etc

Maybe I am just hard to please ;-)
