All good things must come to an end...
Discussion
After six and a half years of V8 HSV joy in my life, the time has come to move onto something a little more sensible. Today, with huge sadness in my heart, I sold my almost 800hp VXR8 Gen-F and purchased a boring sensible German mid sized saloon. Booooooo!!!
I've had some fantastic times and met great people on here, which made it even harder to sell the old girl, but life goes on. It's been a real pleasure and a privilege to have met some of you guys, I'll miss this little chapter of my life very much.
No more engine idle rocking the car from side to side, no more cat-less exhaust fumes whipping back into the cabin, no more back windows down to hear the exhaust when going under bridges, no more loud button, or loud pedal for that matter!
I'll stop by from time to time, and I'll try to maintain the Ultimate HSV Build Register also.
Regards,
Paul.

Must of been heartbreaking after all youve done
Good luck mate
Me too! I hope you keep in touch mate
Must of been heartbreaking after all youve done
Good luck mate
He just gave all the reasons to keep it?
Must be something radically wrong there to opt for a "boring" German POS!!!
Paul, I cant believe you're opting for ignominy over standing out from the motoring mediocrity crowd. Good Luck, whatever the reason, we had some great trips.

is it the 1st of april
paul thought this would be the last thing I would read on here.
has been fun meeting up with you over the last few years for some banter and a drive at the meets
enjoy your new car, what have you bought ?
I hope you will still come up next year if there is a meet and a drive doesn't matter you have a different car now (would not be the same without you).
they still let me go mind you think I am only allowed to go as they have a bet on when I will breakdown
