2002 Ute VU brake upgrade options

Hello everyone

I have just picked up a 02 UTE and its great but it needs some new brake discs and pads. Rather than fitting standard replacements what options do I have in the way of upgrades? I plan to upgrade the engine in the future so sorting bigger brakes seems to be a logical stepping stone to this ultimate aim.

Any help greatly received, I have had a look through the stickies and have learnt that some of the Pontiac GTO brakes will fit and work but I am not sure what exactly fits and works

one of the lads I know has Cadillac sts 4 pots on his car

ive had custom brackets made and fitted db9 4 pots on bmw 550 discs

both cheaper than APs if they ever come up for sale
