Welcome to our corner of Ph. It's a lot more quiet on here than it used to be, but there's a mine of information if you're prepared to use the search feature - including from when Si built your car, IIRC. smile

Welcome to the forum, yes it is quiet these days but it doesn't hurt to still post any questions you may have in the future.
It sounds like you have an interesting car? don't forget to post details, it's always nice to know what mods people have.

Welcome wavey

Although it has become quieter on the forum (partly due to some users migrating to facebook, and partly I'm guessing because there's fewer projects than there used to be), I find that posting on here still gets my questions answered :

Yikes.....careful what you wish for, Monaro's are not exactly know for their traction in cold weather......
Wait until the nice warm weather returns, windows down and cruise...nothing quite like it.

Did Simon fit a RIP SHIFT to the gear select? If not thats your first job, to help gear changing.
Welcome to the forum, great guys and gals, get in touch with the clan in your area, they are here on this forum. Hope to meet you on the annual national Scotish meet 2018.

Mods haha. The car has a big cam and stainless steel valves ported and pushed heads up graded oil pump, the car also has VXR brake upgrade as well as stainless braided brake lines, customer made headless and a Wortec exhaust not to mention 200 cell cats. The throttle body is 90mm with an OTR fitted. Recently had 16 new valve springs. Then there is the adjustable front and rear antiroll bars with poly bushes, the big mounts at the front are poly and also the bushed on the track control arms are poly. Finally a ripshifter and an LS7 clutch and flywheel.

Adds up to 504hp at the fly and 419hp at the back wheels.

Car is reasonably clean underneath but that was my next jobs. I had the car booked in to get rear bumper and stone chips done. Then the wheels redone.

Great car you have got yourself. Known it since 2009! Si has modified it very carefully and the combination of the right cam/heads/exhaust etc has given it impressive power(and sound!) Always well looked after.Hope to meet you at one of the "Clan" meets in the not too distant future. Stopped off for lunch in Blairgowrie in September with Paul in his Gen F. Used to have family at Cargil!

Are you a newbie, your car is a founder of the clan. Sure all welcome to them.
