Coming home tonight down the m11 following a wide load taking up both lanes for 16 miles till it turned off at stanstead after going to a funeral everyone in that slow moving que where quite happy to sit there travelling at 50+ mph apart from Mario Andretti behind me in a turbo 530 d BMW he was riding my arse all the way moving from side to side as if to make me move over ! We were all in the same boat no one was going to get passed the obstacle in front so when the wide load turned off I left it in 4th pulled over to the near side lane and just floored it changing up into 5th at about 5400rpm then into sixth and settled into a reasonable legal cruising speed oh and what's this coming past about 10 seconds later a frustrated wally in a BMW trying to show off to his girlfriend better luck next time mate

Don’t panic! There will always be a place in the worlds heart for a V8. Think of them like steam trains. Dirty inefficient things and most got scrapped as they have no use in a modern world. Yet the ones that are left today are treasured and adored.
