What are you guys paying for road tax for Monaro VXR 2005, I think its gone up if my Merc road tax is anything to go by?

Think it's £305 for 2005 pre March

Yeah £305 if registered before 23rd March 2006.

Top whack for me...£535.00.
I used to tax it for the year whether I used it or not, but now it's so expensive I SORN it over the winter, so I get a refund.

if there is no co2 figure and it’s pre march 2006 it’s cheaper tax , so quite a lot of imports are cheaper as no co2 figure , and also commercial vehicles aka ute tax is cheaper too , my maloo on a 59 plate is around the 245 mark from memory

Isn't life a bh, when your tax band is "Commercial vehicle over 1500cc" so you take full advantage with 6 litres. biggrin

Nope! My ute is taxed as a commercial but £522 a year. Bloody Manx road tax!

but on a plus side you pay less tax on earnings , no inheritance tax , have no speed limit , and live on a very nice island , but you do have to pay for a dog licence lol

Yes that's true. Bugger I've been paying for a dog license!! that's weird I don't even have a dog!
