Air Con valve leak

Good morning all,

I have had the Condenser replaced believing this was the source of the leak I had.

However it is still leaking and I now know there is a leak in the valve where I have highlighted in the image.
Forgive me I am not sure what the part is.

The garage I took it too could not replace the valve, as they could not get it out. They unscrewed it and loosened it, but it would not come.

Has anyone had issues with this and know if there is a solution, save replacing the whole unit ?

I am beginning to think I will never get the A/C sorted.

What about getting it welded or brazed what ever the aluminium welding term is , or second hand , if it's welded in situ you won't need any other parts if replaced you may need seals and probably bolts stuck etc

If it's just the valve that is leaking, then it should unscrew like any other schraeder valve. They're common to all car tyres, so would think the garage could remove it unless the thread has been damaged.

They often don't come out on them
Try pressuring the system & see if it pops out failing that it's a new pipe

One of mine was leaking. Local a/c guy fitted both and recharge gas.Cost £70.
