I presume this is Emma's old car? Who ever bought it recently hasn't had it very long.

And I own the other Monaro that was featured in that magazine. Mine has a mere 565BHP as measured at the rear wheels. It has a 5.7litre engine which has got various upgrades, mostly to the fuel system. The fitting of twin turbos etc, cost the last owner just under £8500.It has still only covered 4900 miles. Like the other monaro, you must be careful, because it will bite back.

can someone please let me know what is being said on fb about this car. I'm interested in it but I don't have access to fb.
Feel free to email me if you don't want to publicly post it, thanks.

It doesn't matter what is being said on there.

The two people I would speak to are on here - preciousmetal who owns Elite Cars near Bordon and has sold it a couple of times, and Emmaj who owned it when the current engine was built and uprated gearbox installed.

In the ad it states the starter motor was upgraded to a VXR8 one - are the standard starter motors inter-changeable?

It does seem odd that cars like that change hands so often.

If built right, it should be a car an owner would love to keep, when it changes hands so often, it must raise a few red flags.

It could have potential at the right price though

No one will remember what a Monaro is, when yours is finshed or Ex-Puffin's or GSD2000's. hehe
