How to get ute sailplane to U.K?

Guy I emailed says it'll be $800 postage!
There must be a cheap alternative, any ideas welcome.

It's come off a VY Maloo and as far as I can see it is single peace. I have emailed the guy to see if he can send it to my sister in W.A
It is in Victoria at the moment and the said to send it to W.A it'll be $200

Three options

1. Get a better quote. That's about half of what I paid for my hard lid to come over. Get the dims of the packaging and do some investigating yourself.

2. Have it cut into three pieces then have the pieces grafted back together when it gets here.

3. Find one in the UK and have a mould taken to fabricate one from.

If you har haveing the whole thing, ie both sides and the top, it breaks down into 3 peices.

I have bought it and I'm getting it sent to my sister to deal with.
I'd thought about cutting it into 3 bits or maybe 2 bits and reassembling when it gets here, I have noticed that the standard Holden one is 3 peace's and the HSV one is single peace which is a shame for me.
I'll see how Sis gets on with quotes for it whole or in peace's once it gets to here.
