track rod ends 05 vxr monaro.

dose any one know part no. for track rod ends. the steering arms are M16 and the threaded bit above taper is M12, i`ve tried 2 now and both have come with M14 above taper which makes the taper to big for hub. any help would be great. cheers.

Why not just buy them? There are not exactly expensive.

I have replaced both track rod ends on my Monaro. I think they were about £25? each for a Pedders item.
Before you remove the old ones, count the number threads so you will not be a million miles off the correct settings when to put the new one's on.
Get the alignment done straight away, and I always coat mine with Waxoyl or Dynax to stop corrosion.
It's an easy job....unless your old one are covered in rust?

Have ordered from two different motorfactors now and both have sent wrong ones but have said their the ones listed, that's why I was asking for a part no. I'll try monkfish. Cheers.

Think it's the same as the LS1 Monaro with the 'nostrils'. Yesterday, I just bought a trackrod end......
