I've just put a deposit down on a 2006 Monaro VXR in red, with Ripshifter, Peddlers quick rack and Magnaflow catback. There are a few little bits to do on it but its a decent car, and I'm really looking forward to picking it up.

Wish me/my savings luck!

Well, it was raining and I don't think my pics would have done it justice. I'm not collecting for ten days, there are a couple of bits to do; a couple of the front bumper clips need re-attaching, as it has popped out at the side and the clutch switch that allows starting when the clutch is depressed.
I'll be dealing with a little bubble of rust on a rear arch when I get it and a couple of blemishes elsewhere. Its on just over 50k so it has a little life left in it!
They are a big feeling car, aren't they? Also, the accelerator travel is surprisingly long, which is a very good thing. The quick rack is very noticeable and seems to be a good upgrade.

Don't say that about the quick rack, with MF closing I assume I've missed my window to get one! Yes, they do feel big.

Congrats on the car, I do like a red VXR smile

You will love it Quirks and all, but it will make you smile every time you drive it.

Nice - if you drive it properly you'll be spending much time at these locations.....
