Hi folks. Been about 10 years since i've been in here. Cant remember what year it was i sold the CV8Z on to Stev8...
I really miss the CV8 and it was the most fun i've ever had driving so when i see a low miles CV8Z in the classifieds just now, it's real tempting.
But, i was meaning to get hold of a Gen F GTS before the factory closed and did not realise with the VX ordering process, if you snooze you lose. I lost.
I dont like white and i dont like auto transmission and these are the only ones which tend to appear in the classifieds.
The question is, does anyone have any ideas on any other options for sourcing a brand-spanker or am i destined to wait for one of the manual cars to show up in the classifieds?
In the good old days you could ping VX-Dougie a bespoke sourcing request but no doubt given the demise of VX and Holden, no one is really going to be jumping through hoops to source diddly. I pinged Walkinshaw a question on this but expect it's just not what they do.
P.S. i know there's about 2 GTS-Rs available (orders fell through) but for that money, i'd rather have a fully loaded AMG
Any thoughts and comments appreciated...

If Vauxhall have said they can't order you a new car you may well have to get that used Monaro after all!
The only thing I can think of is to try a private vehicle importer. I get classic american magazine, and there is always a few companies offering to import vehicle from the states.
They might be able to advise you how to go about importing from Oz.
I would imagine it's not going to be easy so best of luck.
