The Air Con on my Monaro is leaking, However I cannot see any dye in the engine bay.
My guess is that it is leaking from under the dash around the Evaporator.

Has anyone got any ideas?

Take a look under the front of the car where the pipes come down and go under the rad thats where mine went rubbed on the rad brackets and wore a hole in ali pipe

Cheers, I've had it on a ramp with a UV light and not seen anything but it's worth another check.
I'm worried that it is going to be a dash out job which will be nasty!

You'll probably need to take it to someone with a big tank of Nitrogen with dye in it, they'll over pressure it all and the leak will then hopefully become obvious. Mine got holed on the rad clamp too.

This is my fix, using a splice and a 90 degree section taken from a Volvo in a scrap yard.
The large gold coloured sections are 'Splice Lok' - found online and available in all usual pipe sizes. This was considerably cheaper that having to replace the entire low pressure section, requiring only axle stands and the removal of the rad fans. ( note rag in upper rad pipe so didn't get too dripped on whilst doing this.

Hope this is a help.

I'm a long time lurker on here, and the one thing I've ended up doing on my CV8 is air-con, both this bit and the high pressure side too, largely due to the lack of anyone locally who has a clue about this sort of thing. Good luck, keep us posted on any progress.
