Hi guys, need help and advice.

I have a Monaro VXR 5.7, what is the best way to get the damn starter motor out and back in again?

Looking at it, looks like the drivers side manifold needs to come out of the way is that correct? or is there an easier way withourt removing anything?

Many thanks in advance. smile

I decided to book it into Keith Edwards Motorsport for today, lets see how they get on.

If you have headers they'll have to be pulled aside at least. If the car has short 4-1 manifolds you may get away with separating them at the joint and clearing the pipe below.... good luck!

Cheers Robbyd, standard exhaust on it at the moment so they had to move the steering rack appartently, all done now. smile
