Morning Guys,

I have found this car on Autotrader (ad below) but its been listed for a very long time without sale. Does anyone know of said car or viewed it?

Because it has been up for a while I am guessing its priced too high or was, or that there is something up with it.

Any advise when looking this one over, I will be going with a fellow VXR8 owner for a look.

Are you looking for a fully stock car? I'd think long and hard about buying a completely standard car... the cost of modifications can (and more than likely will) add up very quickly.

It's 'services' look few and far between should have had around 10 by now. Between 30k and 50k all its had is an Oil change?

Doesn't mean it's a bad car but it may give you some leverage to knock some money off

Ideally no as I wanted one with a upgraded exhaust right off the bat, but I am not against waiting for the right car.

My list was black or Evoke grey with a wortec system.

Yeah I agree, I want to see its history to look more into how it was looked after.

I am not too confident with this one and might walk away before I take the trip up there

By the looks of it that doesn't have the standard exhaust fitted, it's certainly not a Walkinshaw one & I'm not familiar with Wortec but I don't think it's that either.

It's probably still worth a viewing to see what condition it's in.

Yep as said it's not a Wortec. I'd wait for another to pop up, you will find better examples with FSH .

You won't know until you try a drive and listen to it. The exhaust may sound fantastic in the flesh and the auto gearbox can be tweaked nicely by removing and replacing fuse 9 for a better feel. Been there are often do that on one of ours. 2007 on 50k miles is circa a £15k ish car with a warranty in my view that is why it has not sold. Its just a wee bit over priced. Turn up with cash and they may well do a deal to move it on. Autos are not as popular as manuals if you go down the modifications and BHP increase game. Still good cars.
