When starting up this morning, my LS2 VXR8 turned over for longer than usual, then threw an EML when she fired up.

The car runs perfectly, just not starting as usual. When cleared it comes back after a few starts.

EFI live tells me that something's up with the camshaft sensor, has anyone come across this before and what's the recommended fix?

Test the cam sensor and wiring ? Or just throw a new one at it.

Has any work been done or any changes made prior to this problem appearing ?

Thanks mate, seems like I need to try a new sensor and wiring loom...

No recent work, so likely to be age related rather than modifications

I had similar - turned out to be the battery causing lazy start which in turn threw the code up... changed the battery and all sorted. May not be the same of course but worth checking.
