Turn off airbag Monaro
Discussion
You need dummy loads if removing the airbags. VZclustermod can reset the light if you make make a mistake. See post from Sturdy on page 5 of the FAQ: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
Just as an additional pointer, even if the SRS warning light is on, the system still functions, so any airbags that are triggered will still go off, or at least attempt to be fired.
You'd have to physically unplug the passenger dash airbag (not easy to get to) and don't forget there are also side airbags in the seats (these could be unplugged under the seat).
As Mud said, you'd need VZClusterMod or the proper tech2 to then reset the airbag light afterwards once things were reconnected.
As far as I'm aware you can't just 'disable' the airbag entirely, so leave it connected but tell the system not to use it. Any airbag tinkering should be done with the battery disconnected and left for 10 minutes just to be sure, as you probably know
