I like the idea of a genuine Holden Monaro and, what with my buggered leg, I like the idea of an autobox. This car looks very smart, though the red interior would need to grow on me very quickly or it would be changed.
Strangely though, you can play that 'spot the difference' game with the pictures used:
Rear lights - spotted
Wheels - spotted
Rear bumper - spotted
Right side exhaust - spotted
Changed position of the fuel filler cap - WTF!!!
Surely the first picture is of a 2005 model CV8? It even has a nostril bonnet.

The seller is clearly a moron as cant be bothered to take any proper pics, the first one is a 6.0 Monaro GTO from Aus with different wheels and not the same car, model or spec and has posted 3 identical pics of the same OSR ?? if people want to sell a car why don't they do a proper advert with fresh pics
and whats with the cob webs on the interior seats

Evening,
Apologies if I am hijacking the topic, please delete if so.
I've been keeping an eye on the CV8s that keep coming on and going off the market. I've been after one for a few months now and haven't had the guts to take the plunge (after finally wearing the mrs down!).
I drive an auto at the mo so like ArnieVXR the "genuine Holden" sounds decent but has anyone here had a gander at it in the flesh? Also, with it being an auto, I'm guessing when / if it goes pop, there aren't too many re conditioned auto boxes lying around?!

"yes its a holden not HSV. only reason im selling it is to complete a deposit on a house. The cars in Worksop, nottinghamshire. ex aussie show car as has hsv specs with holden badge. Iv had it since 200 miles and have always serviced it myself , only way i could be sure it was getting what it deserved.
brought it in Perth, then shipped to UK. It has a couple of stamps from dealer in 2005. Its now 85k kms. The breaks, suspension are hsv and interior is very high spec, suede and leather, two rear (arm chair ) bucket seats. Has the full monkfish performance 'wortec performance pack', 2 exhausts if you prefer the quiet one"
its the 4 speed Auto box that put me off - only personal preference as was looking to for an LS1 to keep
Goodluck though as rare thing over here and a lot of car for the money

Agree it's a lot of car for the money, although I'm not keen on the wheels. Has been up for sale for ages and was for a lot more money that it is today.
Love that red interior though!
I must say the red is to my tastes. I tried to get the Mrs' opinion. She was not so "keen"...I think my post would be deleted if I quoted directly....agree with you re wheels too. I prefer the standard look more than anything. Love that red interior though!
