Hi all,

does anyone know how to change the rear foglight bulb on an LS2 VXR? Do you need to take the bumper off, or can you remove the red plastic lens?

I tried twisting the lens, but doesn't seem to want to budge!

Cheers

Mike

Is it not in the manual?. I can't remember, but no manufacturer would design a bulb change requiring a bumper removal surely.

If you jack the car up look up behind the inner part of the bumper where the fog light is you should be able to see the builb holder unit wich you twist undone to then remove the builb

Undo the 2 fasteners as well it makes life easier. Ime it's usually not the bulb but the connector that need cleaning...

Cheers all. There doesn't appear to be enough room to get the holder out. I can't undo the bits for the unit either. I'll take the bumper off next weekend- looks like it's just as easy to go in from the lens side.

Mikey if the bumper does have to come off, then see if you can modify to make it so bumper does not have to come off in future to do job. if you do come up with a mod photo would help others.

Did mine a few days go. Its tight but you can do it through the access bit underneath. It's tight but no issues.

I should add I had to replace the whole fog light assembly, not the bulb.
