Temporary Engine Misfire

On the way home this afternoon my engine started missfiring (VXR8) and went on so for about 3 minutes, after one minute the check engine animation came on but not the MIL, the stability control assistance animation then came on and the missfire disappeared, the engine ran normal and all animations switched off, just wandering if anyone else has had something like this happen before i go to the Vauxhall dealers, thanks

check the ht leads are all on, the leads are prone to failure with very little notice , MF is where i got my last set from

My VXR8 misfired like hell for a few miles, just prior to a loud metallic racket of the engine destroying itself! Needed a new motor.

Yep, In my experience this is almost always plug leads.
