Just had my VXR8 serviced by a local independent garage and the bush on the NSF suspension arm is worn (offside possibly or likely as well).

This local indpendent garage was given a cost of the arm at £350 :-(.

Has anyone else had this part replaced? Has anyone just been able to have the bush itself replaced? I would expect the bush alone to be relativly low cost and I expect it could be pressed out and the new one pressed back in.

I'll post this question on Facebook too. I have also asked Monkfish about this, but don't expect a response until the working week starts.

Thanks, Steve

Changed a complete front lower control arm on my wifes VXR. Got the part off Monkfish and my local garage fitted it. About £250 all in inc labour. Best give Andy or Roger a call at Monkfish or Dave at walkinshaw. I found most others haven't a clue about these cars. Even the specialist VXR8 Vauxhall dealers - useless from my experience anyway- tried to change stuff that was fine.

All urethane type stuff below. Obviously down here but give you a guide as to what you can and can't get hold of. Put the part numbers into Oz Ebay.

There is an email in Monkfish's inbox.

Mine was clunking, I thought it was the arms. Took it to Walkinshaw and it turned out to be something completely different and that is why I only use them.

Have now got a photo of the arm with a loose bush toward the front of the car. I couldn't get a photo of that.

Uploaded at ImageFra.me

Emailed being sent to Monkfish for part in parallel with this.

If its upper and lower control arms you are after try Pace Performance in the USA, I got a complete set for my E1 inc shipping for a lot cheaper than in UK.
