water meth

One for the tuners ,so today had the car on a dyno r8 auto with cam and tvs 2300 water meth kit ,tried a 4 gear pull and the car would,nt pull past 4000 rpm and showed 700 pounds off torque tried again the same, tried 3 gear pulled to 6500 rpm so turn water off and did a4 gear pulled 6500 rpm no problem afr were between 13 and 11.6 ,figures not great but don,t know if the conveter locked or not ,had a chat with devils own and his never heared of this before,has also said there will be a power drop if using water only and says i would be better off running 50/50 mix and i would,nt need it remapping again ,so anyone have any ideas on this

The more water you flow, the more that flow needs controlled.

The more methanol you flow...well it's idiot proof

Either way, both aspects need tuned to suit each application, there are many variables, and you've given little information.

But very much if you are flowing a lot of water, too much water etc etc it can very negatively affect how the engine performs.

It's all about using the right amount for your needs and then tuning it all correctly to suit.

I've got a similar setup on mine have you got a picture of your run ? Also can I ask is your box standard or been uprated at all ? What fuel system have you got and what size injectors are you running?
