Pontiac G8 Exhausts?
Discussion
Fit perfectly. I have the Magnaflow catback #16795 which was purchased from UK distributors Nemesis Performance. I had the last one in the Magnaflow European warehouse in Italy (at time of purchase). Ordered on a Weds PM and was TNT'd at no extra cost and arrived in perfect condition on Mon morning. Local chaps that fitted it said there were no alignment issues during fitting. I got mine at an incredible price so very happy with my purchase.
I believe there are 3 Magnaflow options. 2.5" with resonator, 2.5" without and also a 3" system. There are also axleback only options, not sure what other brands offer.

Hi James
Yes I know it has the vacuum operated bi-modal, not electronic, and that may be set to loud already, but the rear silencers are showing signs of decay, and I am not that keen on either of the WP tailpipe options.
Thanks
Kev
Okay understand. When in had it the valve opened to loud at idle and on 3/4 throttleYes I know it has the vacuum operated bi-modal, not electronic, and that may be set to loud already, but the rear silencers are showing signs of decay, and I am not that keen on either of the WP tailpipe options.

Maybe they are seized or stuck and if rusty suppose you could replace just the back boxes
The valves are set open all the time as it is spring pressure that keeps them open.
The vacuum line controlled by the ecu closes the valves.
I blocked off the vac line so that the spring pressure kept them open all the time.
Paul can vouch for how good this system sounds when he was behind me.
The only trouble with the back boxes are it is Aussie stainless and not very good.
