VXR8 breaking - spares wanted

Hi all,

Very recently on the Facebook group page a VXR8 was being broken. I don't know why it was being broken as the photos made the car look OK. I understand the whole car was sold but I have no idea to whom. I'm looking for some bits from this or another VXR8.

These are:

• boot opener/catch,
• voltmeter (red LEDS) 12-18V with 15 V centre top.
• passenger door actuator mechanism (the bit in the door).
• interior mirror.
• key fob case would be handy too.

If the purchaser or anyone else who knows where I coud get these, then please let me know.

Thanks you Snowwolf. I have contacted Adam Smith and am waiting for the new owner to contact as well. I presume there is business in progress.

I was alos wondering if there are other sources.

The rolling shell is Stick's old car and not the one with the supercharger that Adam has/had. I'm surprised if he has sold it complete but he does normally deal in European Vauxhalls.

I got a brand new key fob case off our local main dealer for my wifes VXR8 . Picador Vauxhall. Think it was around £3. took a couple of minutes to switch it all over. easier than you think to do.

I organised a group buy of 10 a few years back. The spring that flip the metal key round is a bit iffy on mine. ;-)

I am still struggling to get a response from Gary. I did speak and got a text to say he was busy.

I'm confused (often, ha ha) one is Gary the other Brett!! Gary (Raving) lists himself as being in Birmingham and Brett (Speed4U) as being in Suffolk.
