Power steering vibration
Discussion
Ive driven several hundred miles since replacing my headers which involved dropping the steering rack, which I had disconnected the hydraulic lines, I refilled and everything was ok after I thought the air had bleed thru. Last week I noticed some vibration when pulling into the drive. I turned steering full lock a few times and nothing. Today it did it again, I felt vibration when braking, now when parked stationary and I apply the brakes and turn the steering wheel there is a lot of vibration from the front area of the car, the cooler I think.
Do I need to have the system bleed, I read here about a procedure that applies a vacuum to the system?

no leaks by the way

the reason i suggested that was on my forester the steering occasional rubs on the downpipe , it only occasionally happens when accelerating at certain angles as the engine mounts flex and it touches the exhaust , it's not obvious looking at it as when parked up no engine flexing and it's not close , it feels like a knocking on the steering column
I guess steering rack its got to come out now, leaking fluid everywhere, doesn't look like its any of the unions, must be from dropping the rack to get the headers out and back in again

The high pressure one I got from oz was made by kelpro part number HPS088 that fits the ls2 monaro. The low pressure return I don't know the part number but monkfish had it in stock so just got it from them. I think they also do a high pressure hose now that's modded to fit the ls2 both are fairly price considering there already in the uk.
