Mapping Options
Discussion
Evening All,
Currently torn between two mappers and thought I'd see if any of you had dealt with either and had feedback.
Both are a similar price, both want the car for a week, both available the week that I'm free, both responded to e-mails swiftly.
Only real factor is the travel distance/time to the two locations, the car will be taken on a transporter when dropped off.
Although from my research already, they both are well recommended.
Option 1 (110 miles each way) This will be rolling road mapped.
John Sleath Race Cars - Recommended by my engine builder, well known for mapping and building high power V8's. http://www.john-sleath.com/index.htm

Option 2 (235 miles each way) I think that this will be road mapped based on the website?
Wortec - Obviously well known in the scene already and were recommended by Roger @ Monkfish. http://www.wortec.co.uk/index.php/tuning-gm-engine...
I have decided that it will be one of these two tuners, so no need to point me in the direction of anyone else.
Cheers
Isaac

Mark @ Wortec would get my vote as like others have said he knows the cars inside out.
Also, I think he may come to you if you ask him nicely?
I agree, he came to me and took the car away so he could map it over a couple of days and do a cold start with it as I went maffless. When he brought it back it was spot on with no problems, ran great with no flat spots or gaps in the map and he estimated 480BHP. When it went on SRR it pulled 486.2BHP at the fly so he really knows his stuffAlso, I think he may come to you if you ask him nicely?

Ever since, it has been flawless and with Monkfish adding a 3.9 diff and Response Pack later it's many smiles per miles
At local Scottish meets with lots of Pork and Bratwurst present, it's acknowledged as the best sounding after rolling up with the obligatory over-run pops and bangs
