Hi all,
As many of you may do, I quite often browse the classifieds to see what's about, in recent months I have noticed the prices of Monaros are starting to creep up. This has raised a question to me that, should the worst happen, I may struggle to replace my car with a similar standard of car for my current valuation. Just interested to see what other owners have got theirs valued at for a guide to see if I should be amending mine.
For reference, mine is a 04 VXR, 50k miles, with ported heads and a different cam and full exhaust (or at least it will do once I have it back lol), which I would consider to be in excellent condition.
Thanks in advance!

I know we're all asked for a value when we insure, but unless you have a policy with agreed valuation (usually requiring pictures, evidence of the facts etc) then they'll only ever pay "market value", which, to be honest, can be anything they deem appropriate. So, in essence, it's kinda irrelevant.

To answer your question, I still value mine at around £15k, but it's in storage and has only covered 11,500 miles, so it's pretty much "like new". <shrugs>

Hi mate, I've also noticed values creeping up recently. Mine is similar to yours but is 2006 with 55k on it. I'd be hoping for £14k if sold / written off ,although it does have loads of mods on it including a supercharger so I assume this will add a bit to the value?
Cheers
