Ok thanks.
I can't just go and buy some 5x120 8.5J fronts and 10.0J rears and hope for the best then.
Does anyone know what range of offsets we can use?
I was thinking 19" as that is what the VXR currently has.
I'm happy with the front 245/255 or whatever size the are. It's the rears that I want to go fatter on?
I did read that going wider didn't make much difference in traction - but surely it must help a little bit?
Driving on a wet road - fine, it is what it is! It's the dry road use that I'm trying to improve.

245 only on the front. I'm running aftermarket alloys with 275 on the back although with coilovers. Offset on the back is ET40 I think but not sure. I'm not totally convinced by them if I'm honest especially as I have a set of original LS1 VXR alloys available....
BTW no tabbing

All the info is in the FAQ sticky at the top
Ive got some 10J et50 and the will fit with an arch roll, coil overs but are still close to the inner arch, so might need a small 3mm spacer to clear that or mini tub
