We all know HSV lead times. I guess E3 was the current model when the last one was ordered. wink

It looks like a hybrid of E1 / E3 and Gen F. I suppose the LWB is why its a mis match and not GenF and only selling 2 a year. Not a good looking car

The next gen Vauxhall Insignia (2018) will no doubt get the HSV treatment, when they go to Australia to get converted. I wonder how many people on here will buy one? Zero point really, just get a VXR version instead!
It would appear that the HSV cars are finished as far as the UK is concerned. Mind you, I think that might add some extra interest to the current UK cars in a couple of years time.

I'm not so sure. I can't see GM allowing Ford to have all of the V8 loveliness in RHD with the Mustang.

One option is that the Chevy SS is still in production in the States and Holden has the tooling for the RHD parts required......

eta: Scrub that. The SS is finishing in 2017 as well. frown

The first one was ok, VE series I Grange. The Holden Caprice still looks the same from 2010 and I reckon is better looking than the HSV Version, plus it now also has the LS3 motor which effectively make it the same as the Grange underneath. In OZ the Caprice is a lot of car for $55k.
You see loads of Caprice Limos at airports down here although you are now starting to see the Skoda Superb take some of their places.
Still looks the same from years ago but different wheels and the interior is VF.

Well common sense would agree with your statement, but.....GM North America, have stated that there will be no right hand drive Camero for the UK or even Australia....talk about a company not having a bloody clue.

The Chevrolet SS is made in Australia, not the US.
