Temp Reading F to C
Discussion
Hi All
On my HSV E2 GTS all the temp readings for the heater are in degrees farenheit not degrees centigrade and it doesn't take much to confuse me! Is there any way to switch to C?
I have scrolled through the menu's and it is set to English and MPH, but I can't see an option to do the same with this readout.
Cheers

If you switch the speedo from MPH into KPH, it will switch the heating from F into C. No joke!!
There is no way to independently set the temperature to degrees C without also having the speedo read in KPH.
Bonkers I know, but I guess the Australians that designed this car assumed that you'd want all or nothing, not a mix of the two.
It used to drive me crazy. Thankfully they fixed this issue on the Gen-F

mines a maloo ve2 i don't seem to get the option of mph to kph ?
It's accessed by using the menu from the steering wheel if I remember correctly. Just change the units from imperial to metric. The car will let you do it while you're driving along too, you'll see the speedo needle swing up or down as it adjusts to reflect the unit you selected.
On the VE1 there is a green KPH light that illuminates on the speedo when units are set to metric (on the VE3 it's white, I'm going to guess it's white on the VE2 also)
