I have seen this car quite a lot, infact i nearly bought it 4 years ago, Grosvener car sales had it then and it looks like they still have it now although 2 years ago i saw it in a workshop unit with the front valance, grill and bonnet off.
About 2 months ago my mrs told me that someone opposite her friends house has one like ours (VXR8) i said i doubt it so i went and had a look and there it was on axle stands on someones front garden.

I know this car was for sale at £10999 for several months from December 2012. Back then it had bonnet vents. Private number is still the same and its only done 4k since the last sale.

Grovesnor car sales used to think of itself as a bit of a HSV specialist a several back having had two GTS VTIIs and a clubsport for sale over the years as well as the GTS-R, one of the partners used to wear a HSV racing short sleeved shirt ( the nice black and red ones) and would use whichever HSV he had for sale as his daily driver, i saw him many times in the Orange Clubsport
One of the GTSs they had for sale was a Black VTII covered in Jack Daniels stickers ala the V8 Supercar racer, not very cool.

I remember that one. I called about it when it was priced at £13k odd. I recall he was rather disappointed when I asked about removing them, as they had just been applied at some expense.

I assume the stickers were removed?
