Hi All
Been on Pistonheads for quite a while, but now the very proud owner of a rather special HSV E2 GTS, originally owned by Mr Walkinshaw!
Loving every minute of it and can't wait to get to a few meets.
Actually have my own garage business in Ilkeston with Café next door so am going to try and arrange a butty run early in November, but I'll post details nearer the time.
Cheers
Kev

Because of it's history, not much but could end up with a stainless exhaust from either Walkinshaw or Wortec
Cheers
Kev

Kev, meet James (Preciousmetal) who has logged in on his work profile by mistake. He was one of the previous owners of your car, buying it from the Walkinshaws for stock, but had it as his own car for a while as it was so nice.

Probably the sales patter you gave when you last sold it .

Oops. Yes i was logged in doing some adverts. Yes I bought it direct off Tom's Wife via WP. Was a lovely example so I kept it for nearly a yearKev, meet James (Preciousmetal) who has logged in on his work profile by mistake. Great car you've got there. Having heard this car zoom past me on the motorway (driven by the previous owner Dale), I have to say the current exhaust system sounds pretty good at wide open throttle as it is.Cheers
Kev
But if you are going to mod it, I'd stick with Walkinshaw for the exhaust given that it already has some of their other stuff fitted.
That said, nothing wrong with Wortec either. They sound different but both are great.

As if by Magic I have just read your article in American Car magazine.
Enjoy that car.

Hi JohnEnjoy that car.
Regards John
I have been writing for American Car for a couple of years now. I used to work overseas a lot, mainly USA and OZ, and I went to car shows whenever I could. I also have a regular page with them on my other Muscle car, which is awaiting a new engine rebuild, a 73 Plymouth Duster.
Cheers
