Just wondering if anyones driven their HSV through the Alps down to monaco? I did the drive in a different car and it was breathtaking. In a v8 it would be spectacular

I spent a week in and around Lake Lucerne a couple of years ago.

I based myself in a town called Weggis which was beautiful.

From there, it's a short drive to a series of Alpine passes which brought me back to where I stared. They were:

Gotthard Pass
Grimsel Pass
Furka Pass
Susten Pass.

Utterly amazing roads, scenery as I'm sure you can imagine.

Furka pass is awesome. What were you driving?

I was in my old RX-8. The roller skate was perfect for the twisties.

I'd worry about setting off avalanches with the R8! (Wortec set to loud obviously!)

We went to Lake Constance in early Sept. I was driving my T350 and a good friend of mine whose 'other car' is a 4.5 ltr Cerebra was driving his blown Monaro... seemed to be enjoying himself (English understatement!).
