Monaro VXR rear bumper repair

I removed the rear bumper to get access to replace the fog light, I found the lower bumper tabs have broken off. I was wondering this must be a common issue, has anyone made metal brackets to brace / repair the plastic joint?





Found some rust on the brace behind the bumper

I think my Monaro has one broken , different bumper and not causing any issues on the cv8 so I left it alone , if it's easy to do a bracket then not a bad idea

Get some Q-Bond. It will work a treat on those bumper tabs.

Thanks, ill give it a try as well as brace it with a SS plate

Im sure a metal brace and some araldite or simular will sort that
