Guys I have a 6.0 vxr monaro with basic mods, has the full Wortec system including cats etc & different heat shielded filter & also was mapped to run on superunleaded. The dyno read out was nearly that of a standard car at 396 bhp & 407ftlb.The car pulls way better than standard but do the Ro's not do so gud on the dyno.

That's all it made fly wheel, if it was at the wheels that wud be alright I wudav been happy.
Flywheel figures rely on converting back from RWHP, and really don't mean a lot. What were other cars making compared to what they were expecting? What was your car producing prior to the upgrades? As you have a VXR, the original map was already quite good - a lot better than the CV8 maps. In addition, the cat back is more for aural appreciation than power gains, unless you also remove intake restrictions.
Your question asks more questions than can be answered without data. Do you have the graphs from the RR session? Power plotted against AFR would be a start.

That's my readout I got if that helps, sorry I'm not that gud at posting stuff, when I said my car has full system it has the Wortec headers fitted aswell.
In some ways, not a lot, but it's a nice curve, so I doubt the fueling is out in any single area - but it's still a guess. As every such thread goes....you just cannot compare dyno to dyno, day to day etc etc. There are always variations, arguments etc etc etc
get a high number and people are happy...get a low number and people are sad. Regardless of how the car actually performs...which really is bonkers.
And dyno days are just a bit of fun, compare numbers to other cars on the day etc and how they performed. Nothing else.
And even then there are debates over who runs first, last, how hot the engines may be, how good/bad the dynos cooling system is etc. If no proper cooling fans, that'll means lots of heat and lower numbers too.
