Hi Guys,

I wonder if you may be able to help....
I need a GM E67 ECM for a kit-car application, flashed with a 'stock' map for a LS2 Crate engine. I think it's referred to as an E-Rod Crate Motor.

Can anyone offer any advice on where i might buy such an ECM?
I did try a seller on eBay (USA) called 'vectorbundle' but they would not supply it without a VIN Number.
I don't have a VIN Number as this is a Kit-Car application

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks,
Linkin

You could use an LS1B Ecu and mod in the ls2 data easy enough.

I would expect the ECU is available new online somewhere.

PWP sell various ecu kits

http://www.partsworldperformance.com/catalogsearch...

Speedscene ?

http://speedscenewiring.com/ssw_zen/gm-ecmprogramm...

Current Performance ?

http://www.currentperformance.com/why-cpw/

Ask here ?

http://ls1tech.com/forums/conversions-hybrids-28/

Or go aftermarket ecu ? Is there a reason you must use a specific factory ecu ?

Monkfish usually carry ECUs in stock.

I think the reason for the VIN number is that there's a variety of units for each engine. Our old VXR8 (LS3) had the most modern of three for that engine.

I'm guessing you don't know the details for the donor vehicle?

If you are running NA I would have thought that an E38 would be better than the E67 as the E67 is set up for boost AIUI. If boost, then yeah, the E67.

Hi Stevie,

Fact is that's what i've been told i need!
I'm checking to see if it is easier to get an E38 with the tune required, then checking with my tuner that it's fit for purpose.....

Currently, i can't find anyone who can supply E67 or E38 with a crate tune. All seem to want a VIN.

They need a VIN to get a license to flash it more than likely.

None of the places I linked to can supply ? Their websites would suggest they can, PWP even offer complete kits and they're in the UK

Did you ask anyone over on LS1Tech ?

Is there any reason you're restricting yourself to a factory ecu ?

Or this place sells ecu's

https://www.eficonnection.com/home/category/ecus-a...

Speartech offer complete kits, so presume they'd have individual components too.

https://www.speartech.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=18...

Or Jegs

http://www.jegs.com/i/Chevrolet-Performance/809/19...

http://www.crateenginedepot.com/LS2-Engine-Control...

http://www.mrk-motorsports.com/product/gme67pcm/

the list of places who use the ecu, sell the ecu etc for conversions or whatever is pretty endless.
