Listed under cars for salvage. I wonder who that might be scratchchin

I suppose it's been a while since I bought a rolling shell. This would make a good project, as the Gen-Fs come with a heavy duty diff...

I think you would be in need of very good therapist if you were to pay that kind of money for a trashed wreck!

I have no real knowledge of such things, it's just the thought of paying a lot of money( for me ) for a fast car that's crashed hard.
Then after all the cost and bother of fixing it up, will it ever be right? and what will it be worth when you sell it?
I have no doubt you will know better than me...which is fair enough.
At the end of the day, I think to take something on like that, and do a proper job, you are either mad..or clever!..or both.

John

Crashed hard ? No chassis damage , 2 front wings , front panel ,bumper, bonnet, lights etc all nuts & bolts no weld on at all

Nothing clever about nuts & bolts

I thought raving had good contacts in oz
I'd have thought even though being on the register he could get the parts easy to put it on back on the road and still make a profit

The same reason I havnt touched my 34 coupe in 15 yrs or my 68 fastback , 57 chev , blown ute , Antonov Mustang etc etc all sat about for a long time

I opened the workshop it was in last week the 1st time for 6 months & thought its about time I did something with that so I put it up for grabs , No hardship if it does not sell

We are having all the building refurbished & possibly planning on doing all new parts for Holden & probably the new Mustang so room would be nice

I do yes have plenty of contacts in Aus to supply new bits at good prices but have only ever done that for myself & a few owners so we may look at this more closely due to the amount of enquiries I get

So the basic answer is I am short of time & space & have a bigger project to look at present

There could be lots of other projects available who knows
