Cluster and map info

Is mileage stored in the cluster or in the car.if it's in the cluster can I change it to my actual mileage not what's in the other cluster.

Who's the go to people regarding a map.need someone to map on 04 cv8 car to run a ls2 engine

I think it's on the cluster...they certainly remember the mileage if you just hook up the power connections.

Definitely on the cluster. You can change the cluster to read right with the right cable. More so if you can read the code out of the old first.

I've got the lead to change the name on the cluster and shift light etc.
Is that the one for doing this.

Possibly. Sometimes it needs an epprom reader. But depends on the cluster.
