Vxr8 strut top bushes

Looking on monkfish website they have genuine strut top bushes and peddlers uprated strut top bushes for sale, is there any difference.

Both are rubber type and looking at the pictures the peddlers appear to have more meat to them.

Looking to hear from people who have tried these.

I bought the pedders one - on the basis that it couldn't last less time than the original.

It was still intact when I sold the car.

SuperFlex do some poly top strut mounts for VXR8 as well.
I have these on my R8 much better than the OEM ones.

I have seen them mate but prefer to stick with the rubber type.

I have just ordered the pedders strut top mounts and bearings having speaking to roger.

Not sure why - maybe it's as a result of having to use the normal commodore shell - but the strut tops sit at a heavy angle compared to the suspension turrets on the vxr8, so one side is heavily compressed as soon as you put them on. Which is possibly why they fail so often.
