Bit of a weird one.

This only seems to happen when locking using the fob after particularly stty weather (like today). Sometimes I'll get a double chirp then the alarm will go off shortly afterwards. sometimes nothing then the alarm will go off a period of minutes afterwards. Nothing on the display to say what caused it, locks appear to be fine and if I lock using the key it is likewise fine. Battery changed six months ago, any thoughts?

Dodgy bonnet catch is a known cause.

It is normally caused by a sticking micro switch in the door actuator.

Try some lube on all the door actuator catches and open and close the doors several times and re try.

Update, silicon spray lubricant in affected lock areas a good run to make sure the batteries fully charged and a dry out. No recurrence.
