Alternator woes.

Hi everybody, am looking for an alternator for 2005 Monaro vxr. Mines overcharging.. If anybody has one I would be much appreciated to buy it from them.
They are very scarce!

Or you could just get a local alternator repair place to stick a new regulator in it.

Its at an auto electrician now but he seems to think he can't get a regulator for it. Don't know why but I will try somewhere else
to get it repaired. Thanks.

Again it will depend exactly which alternator you have. I know for my early Camaro 105A version I was able to get it repaired both locally and at a later date simply buy a replacement regulator off ebay.
Parts werent hard to obtain.

Although oddly the last OEM style replacement complete unit I bought would stop charging above 6500rpm

Replaced it with an uprated item and it was fine.

I just keep the other as a spare although it's no use for racing for me.
