Notwithstanding the sore point of Supercar Seige and its fprced relocation to Brands Hatch.......
Is anyone else going to the show at Leeds Castle on Sunday?
I'm not, on principal. Why line the pockets of the greedy castle management, who have waited until the event is extremely well attended, then pulled the rug out from under the feet of the organisers - a childrens charity? Is anyone else going to the show at Leeds Castle on Sunday?
In previous years, the charity has received the entrance fees for the cars on show, at £10 per car, and also the proceeds from the Sporting Bear rides. The money from the crowds who went to look at the spectacle, at full entrance prices, went to the castle - but it seems that wasn't enough, and the castle wants the exhibitors fees as well.
One day, people like the castle management, will realise that we are not a bunch of egotistical morons who want to show off our cars, but that we are compassionate petrolheads who are happy to put our hands in our pockets for a good cause.
Good luck to Supercar Siege at Brands Hatch. Shame they announced so late, and I'm already booked to be elsewhere.

Well said, similar to when we went up near Ely for that kid, was a great day (any excuse for a meet up) and a sense of well being seeing that kids face light up with all the cars we managed to assemble. Despite the weather, was a cracking time.In previous years, the charity has received the entrance fees for the cars on show, at £10 per car, and also the proceeds from the Sporting Bear rides.
