Came out this morning to a flat battery (not totally flat, would crank but not enough juice to start it - LS2 VXR8). Jumped it no problem off my wifes Corsa but now have an EML & Engine check warning illuminated. Once started the voltmeter is showing over 14v but the battery has been showing signs of being on its way out so would swapping the battery cure the EML or do I need to get it read?
My own fault for only shuffling the car about over the weekend whilst I gave it a machine polish. frown

I would get a new battery and see how you go , the batteries on the way out seem to cause a number of problems

This mornings update is .... no EML or check light. Still need to think about a replacement battery though.
