Brake upgrades!

I know that this has been threaded to death, but who has had there brakes upgraded on 04 Monaro and to what at what cost ?

Corvette C5 pads fit on the GTO calipers...not sure if the VXR has the same braking system.

Got my AP setup (6 pot front 4 pot rear plus a set of HUGE discs) from JHP Vehicle enhancements in Australia. They are the top spec brakes even on HSVs (Will has them on his) and they really are the business. As said cost was £3.5k (plus 'taxes' ...) but I saved a lot by fitting them myself.

You can also go down the PBR route who manufacture the series 1 VXR upgraded brake system. About half the cost of the AP system. (Series 2 cv8s now have the brake system from the series 1 VXRs as I understand .

Stu can you confirm this? Also, what spec brakes are the series 2 6.0 litre VXRs getting?
