new r8 owner in sunny scotland

hello all,,new vxr8 owner here,,,long time lurker first time poster ,now that ive finally managed to buy a r8 after hankering over one for years i thought it only polite to say hi
have read lots of threads on here over time,,lots of good info out there and useful tips from you guys,,
the car ive just bought was from a vaux dealership down near cardiff,,,2009 ls2 auto 23000 miles fvsh nickel silver,,she was very well presented ,in practically unmarked condition ,,drove very staight up thru the gears and back down again ,she felt nice and strong,no silly noises (apart from me drooling) so she has come up the road with me,,,
im not big into the pc thing,,dont do facebook or twitter ect (im old skool lol)but now that im here i will try and float around a bit more often and get involved,,,
i notice theres a meet organised not to far away from myself in july,,if i aint working i will deffo try and get along to this and meet some of you fine ppl
also once its stopped rainng up here i will try and get some pics up,,

hi paul,thanks for the welcome,im working that weekend mate so i cant,,pity if id been off id have taken a run out ,,i work a rigid type shift pattern so its pot luck for meets ect,but there be other times ,,i should be off for the meet organised for stirling,so gonna stick ma name doon for that
