Looking at the data on the 'how many left website', I see that an additional 17 CV8s and 20 VXRs appeared on the road in 2015. I thought the numbers included SORNed cars, which can only mean Vauxhall started making them again biggrin

Or the data is a little misleading...

Model Variant 2015 2014 2013 2012 2011 2010 2009 2008 2007 2006 2005 2004
Monaro CV8 293 276 281 290 307 304 319 332 335 311 251 133
Monaro VXR 301 281 286 299 338 354 359 363 370 285 155 51

Interesting to see that CV8s have almost always been rarer than VXRs.

Also interesting to see that between 2011 and 2012 we apparently 'lost' over fifty cars. That's like one a week!

The Sorn is a separate field in the table, but between 2014 and 2015 Q3 (the last comparable year on year data field), there are 1 less each of licensed and Sorn'd CV8's, so no from 2014 to 2015 we lost 2 CV8's frown

Interestingly, as you mentioned, from Q3 2014 to Q3 2015, the number of Ro VXR's cumilatively licensed and Sorn'd increased by 5!!!

Presumably if one's tax expires but you don't declare it SORN, then you disappear off the table until it's registered one way or the other?

This may account for the oddities?

Actually, those numbers don't look right, going back to 2007, there's only ever been 723. Now there are 686 which means we've lost 37 in the past decade?
