Replacement Airflow Meter / Sensor 09 R8
Discussion
Anybody know the part number for the airflow meter for a Vxr8 09 LS2 engine.
I'm not 100% convinced mine has gone so was going to look for a 2nd hand one as I know some of you guys run without them fitted and might have a spare kicking around.
on ebay in oz I found one but im not sure it would fit as in the description is says "SUITS ALL ACTIVE FUEL MANAGEMENT ENG(L76 L77 AFM V8 6.0)

Your car is a VE Commodore based car not a VZ. I am not sure what MAF the VZ used as I never had one and they were fairly unique. The VZ LS2 would be the VXR Monaro over there with no boot-space. Looking at them online the VE MAF looks different to the VZ one.
Thanks for the info that helps me narrow my search to the correct vehicleARAF said:
I have a spare one Keith (VXR8), and am only down the road in Dover. It's for an LS2, but I think they are the same for the LS2 and LS3 on VXR8s. When do you need it? I'm at Neil's with the BMW on 16th.
What time will you be at neil's ? I can meet you there on the 16th.How much do you want for the part ? you can PM me if your not allowed to post here.

I'll be there from 8.30am. If you like, we can change it over and you can try it first. If it sorts your car out, we can discuss then. I've just seen the new prices (glad I was sitting down), so as an untried item, it's got to be less than half of that - plus breakfast? If it doesn't help you, then I'll take it back and put it back in the garage.

If not, just take the bulb out of the light.

IIRC, it's only a screwdriver to replace, so it shouldn't take 5 minutes.
