Is this "upgraded" or "could be upgraded"?

For a main dealer that's a rubbish ad. Ambiguous with the description & lack of punctuation makes for a fun description 'full leather rain sensing wipers' for instance, 'central locking cd player'. smile

Haha, got bored with the copypasta description and didn't see those. Be interested to see what mods if any it actually has.

Picador have commissioned Wortec/Monkfish to modify new and what looks like nearly new cars to allow them to offer a limited edition main dealer warrantied/endorsed performance version or upgrade package. Sort of a Bathurst alternative.

It's a great idea which I think will increase the interest and desirability of the car.

The upshot of this and the most exciting aspect for me is that development and improvements are ongoing and will become available for owners of earlier cars.

A lot of effort has gone into improving the reliability and torque handling capacity of the auto box version of the new car.

As a result of this development work, Wortec transformed my VXR8 when they remapped my auto box after my blower install. It is no longer a slush box. Gone is the flaring and changes are super fast with much greater clamping forces on the clutches.

Picador may have jumped the gun putting the ad out this soon as it's early days in the cars development/testing but initial results are exciting. That stated power figure is the warranty/ dealer friendly one. Apparently there is a lot more available.

Love your Sarcasm
With the Walkinshaw upgrades we work together with the guys on Warranty items as at the end of the day Walkinshaws makes the cars in the first place.
Other upgrades by other tuners we are not aware or what is being changed and to what extent.

Wasn't sarcasm, honestly thought the walky upgrades were walky warranted not VX warranted. That was what I took away from enquiring about it.

Yeah saw the ad. sounded interesting then read it, just a load of waffle about popping in for a coffee. Think they need some marketing lessons.

I thought that was the case, Walky cover their bit, VX cover theirs?
